1. New Feature -- Add your RSS feeds to the BE Directory!!
Attention BlogExplosion members!
In our ongoing quest to improve traffic quality and get more people reading your blog we have added the ability for you to add your RSS feed information for each of your blogs. We have included 8 different feed options to choose from (RSS, XML, ATOM, Feedburner, Bloglines, MyMSN, MyYahoo, Newsgator) and will show up in the BlogExplosion Blog Directory.
Note: Even if you do not surf BlogExplosion on a regular basis updating your account information with your RSS feed information will see your blogs being visited by people searching the BlogExplosion Blog Directory. With well over 250,000 visits to the BE Directory already it makes sense for all members to update your accounts.
Login and click on Add-Edit Blogs link to add your RSS information now

2. New Smilies for the BlogExplosion ShoutBox
Just a quick update that we have added more smilies to the BlogExplosion ShoutBox for you to enjoy!
The Shoutbox which is located on the main members page and there are usually great conversations going on at any time. Check it out and say hello to other BlogExplosion members.

3. Coming Soon -- Updates for Battle of the Blogs
We have been receiving lots of feedback about Battle of the Blogs as members battle each other for blog supremacy. Lots of fun so far but members have also pointed out that you want to see additional changes made to the feature.
Over the next week we will be updating Battle of the Blogs to
- make all email notifications optional (same goes for Blog Rocket)
- providing additional stats like Last 50 Battles
- voters usernames will also be listed for each battle
- possible changes to how voting is calculated

5. New Blog Thumbnail Functionality on the way!
We have been working hard on updating our thumbnail software to capture mini-screens for each blog listed on BlogExplosion. If system resources allow us to make the changes you will be able to soon request thumbnail updates with a click of a button from your main blog page.
Until we have completely tested the software you are still able to request an updated thumbnail by sending us a support ticket which is updated in usually 24 hours or less.

6. Development Projects in the pipeline
As you have noticed over the last month BlogExplosion has been launching new features every couple of weeks or so and there is much more to come soon.
We have two large updates that are getting closer to go live and SHOULD be ready by the end of June (fingers crossed).. These improvements will continue to enhance BlogExplosion significantly and make your time spent on the site that much more useful and entertaining.
