1. New Feature - Member Profiles !!
Well our team has been working on this feature for some time now and we are proud to announce the launching of Member Profiles.
We realize that many BlogExplosion members want alternative ways to find interesting blogs based on mutual interests. Now with Member Profiles you can customize your own profile page outlining all the things important to you.
BlogExplosion members often ask for additional methods of receiving real blog readership rather than random people hitting your site. Member profiles does exactly where if you are interested in stamps, flowers, baseball, or writing this new feature helps connect people of similar interests. This means qualified traffic and people interested in what you do !!
PLEASE help BlogExplosion by taking a couple of minutes and filling out your Profile page. Profiles moving forward will be a key avenue for all members to receive the best traffic quality possible and even if you do not surf BlogExplosion on a regular basis, profiles is a powerful feature to bring people interested in the topics of interest to visit your site.

2. New Feature - Podcast Directory !!
Do you have a PodCast or an Audio Blog you want to share?
If so BlogExplosion now allows you to stream your audio podcasts blogs to people around the world. Search the PodCast Directory and listen in to audio blogs with a customized flash-based BlogExplosion player that requires no plug-ins or additional software.
Note: We are also working on a Video blog directory, but we are still ironing out a couple of bugs before we can go live. Should make for a fun experience for all BlogExplosion members.
Please get the word out about our new Podcast Directory so we can build up the library of podcasts for everyone to enjoy!

3. Fixes soon coming for BlogRocket and Battle of the Blogs
I know we have been promising this for a couple of weeks (I apologize) but we are now close to fixing how Blog Rocket and Battle of the Blogs work.
We will be making all emails for Blog Rocket and BOTB optional meaning you will not have to receive confirmation emails if you choose not to.
Also for Battle of the Blogs we are re-designing the voting process where votes will be silent (meaning you have to pick the best blog) as only voters who pick the winning blog will get credits. We are also looking at adding a static time period for voting which means a small group of members cannot gang up to rig battles. In the end the changes will mean a better experience and the best blogs will be the victorious ones!

5. Even more projects in development
As you can hopefully see the team here is doing everything we can to improve BlogExplosion. The concept of surfing for blog traffic has traditionally been questioned about how effective it is in terms of readership, but I look and see so many BlogExplosion members with tons of blogmarks, comments and actually who have made friends and contacts on the site.
Is the BlogExplosion process perfect? No. But it does work and as we continue to roll out complimentary features we again hope that all features will create a reliable way to get other bloggers to your site who are interested in what you have to say.
BlogExplosion is quickly evolving past the concept of a simple traffic exchange and we aim to be the top blog community and resource site on the internet. Stick with us over the next 3 months and give us a chance to show you what we have planned for everyone.
July is no different as we have a couple of new projects being developed that we think will provide members with additional value for your membership. We appreciate your support and love the fact that BlogExplosion has such a great core of members that makes it fun to come to work.
