1. Great feedback since launch!
First of all welcome and thanks for joining BlogExplosion.com !!
While traffic exchanges are not new to the internet, BlogExplosion is the first traffic exchange geared specifically to bloggers. Initial feedback has been very positive so far and the comments we have received have been very encouraging. There is definitely a learning curve involved here as many new members to BlogExplosion have never used traffic exchanges before. For those who have been learning how all the features work I think it is safe to assume that many of you see the value of what we are trying to do here.
Again a big thanks to all of you early adopters who have found their way here and we hope to continue to improve the service moving forward.

2. Help BlogExplosion grow
Expect things to start off slowly especially for the first few weeks. We currently have 47 members to date (only been live for a few days) and we are working hard to get ourselves noticed wherever it makes sense to do so. Blogexplosion was indexed in Google yesterday and we have set up keyword advertising there to help spread the word.
We definitely need your assistance to help Blogexplosion gain visibility.

Make sure to add your referral links to your blogs and add our banners and buttons to your pages to help you get more referrals and earn more traffic.
Remember when you refer new members to Blogexplosion it means you earn 10% of their clicks on 5 tiers for life. You can imagine what this could potentially mean if you have 100 people in your downline. Once Blogexplosion has established itself you could see hundreds of visitors coming to your blog each month just by referring new members to BlogExplosion.

3. Stats for your Blogs - bug fix
When you click on http://www.blogexplosion.com/members/my_blogs.php you will see a little stats graphic. We found a bug today where sites were not logging properly but starting in the next 24 hours you will now be able to get stats from the people visiting your blog delivered from BlogExplosion. Again this is another free service that we provide to you and we hope to continue to improve our features in the future.

4. Adding Banners
Only a couple of members have figured it out so far, but all members can also have their banners rotated across the top of all pages of BlogExplosion.
Visit http://www.blogexplosion.com/members/banners.php to add banners to your account. Remember we manually check all banners added to BlogExplosion and banners must be blog related. We want to keep sites and banners interesting for members so please add sites and banners which are relevant to what we are trying to do here.
Adding banners at currently a 50:1 ratio (1 credit gives you 50 banner impressions) is a great way to get your blog noticed, so take some time to create a banner for your blog and get your blog seen!

5. Adding Directory Ads
If you click on a category in the Blog Directory (example)
http://www.blogexplosion.com/directory/index.php?CID=1 you will notice the grey sponsor ads to the right of the listings in each category.
These are NOT paid ads, but rather member ads where you can bid to have your blogs promoted via a category-sponsor ad.
Click on my directory bids in the Members Area http://www.blogexplosion.com/members/my_bids.php and you can set-up your ads here. Again the more time you spend on properly setting up your BlogExplosion account and taking advantage of all the features offered means the more traffic you can expect to see to your blog each and every day.

6. Directory thumbnail images
Just to let members know we are looking at alternative solutions to how we can get better thumbnail images in the Blog Directory. What we want to avoid is having to manually add new thumbnails every day as that is very time consuming, so we are looking at building scripts that will index the full database of member blogs and automatically create thumbnails for them. There is no software that we can find that currently creates thumbnails from a list of urls so we have to build a solution from scratch.
Please be patient with us as we try to find the best solution possible to make sure we can generate thumbnails of all of your blog sites.

7. Things can only improve from here
For those members who have done some surfing of other members blogs or have tried some of the features here, I think it is reasonable to agree that BlogExplosion is a neat service that can only get more popular. Nobody knows about us yet but we see from our traffic logs that the numbers are improving daily. We will be announcing BlogExplosion to the members from our three other traffic exchanges (membership of over 200,000 people) over the next week, so things will only get busier here.
We hope that you enjoy BlogExplosion and we will work our hardest to continue and improve the service for all of our members. Again a big thanks for joining with us and hopefully we can exceed your expectations looking to the future.
