1. New Feature - Blog Headlines!
Yes this was one of the features we kept secret from our competitors until it was ready for launch. We actually have a couple more secret projects coming out this month in addition to our project log page so stay tuned as we launch new features practically every week this month!
NEW!! Add your blog Headlines to BlogExplosion!
Now on BlogExplosion whenever you add a new entry to your blog members can post a Headline so that others can go to your blog for the full post. You can check out all of the headlines for today or use the calendar feature to go back in time and see what is going on in the blogosphere for that day.
BlogExplosion Headlines are a great way to find blogs that interest you and for your blog to get read by others! If you do not like surfing for credits on BE then using headlines may be another great way to generate real readership to your blog.

2. ShoutBox has been updated again
Just a quick note that member feedback was received and acted on to now have our old ShoutBox on the main members page with a link to chat for members that want to chat in real time or wish to speak privately with each other.
You still win mystery credits for using the Shoutbox as previous and there is usually a discussion going on at any time of the day. Talking with other bloggers is a great way to get feedback about your blog or just talk it up in general and have some fun.

3. Battle of the Blogs Re-design
We are working with our designer this week on launching a brand new main page for Battle of the Blogs. This will be the first part of 3 updates later this month for BOTB that will change the scoring system and how the voting works.
We did complete the changes to the profile directory which is in production now and expect a brand new design for Battle of the Blogs coming out over the next several days. Looks great and we cant wait to get it live!

4. Checked out BE Blog of the Day?
Many members are still not aware on how to qualify for the BlogExplosion Blog of the Day. All you need to do it login each day and you qualify to be the Blog of the Day for the following day.

6. August Traffic Lottery Winners
Every month BlogExplosion holds a Traffic Lottery where three lucky winners are selected randomly to win the BlogExplosion Lottery.
You must buy at least one ticket to be entered in the competition each month. For each ticket you buy you get one entry in the drawing. Each ticket can win! We will draw three random winners each month. The more tickets you buy the bigger your chance of winning is. We pay out 90% of the total credits entered in the competition where the winner get 70%, and the two others get 10% each

8. More September Feature launches...
BlogExplosion continues to launch more new features than any of our competitors and that will not change anytime soon.
September still has Rent my Blog feature going live this month and that promises to be fun where you can make offers to other members to rent their blog space. Rent my Blog is expected to be a big launch.
With Blog of the Day and BE Headlines now live as of today it means that we are one step closer to relaunching the main members page as well where we can integrate all of this new functionality.

BlogExplosion also has at least one more secret project being worked right now and we hope to have them launched in the next 10 days or so.
September means that summer vacations are over and kids are heading back to school. It also means cooler weather is returning and people will spend more time in front of their computers.. Activity on BlogExplosion will pick up as a result and we expect traffic delivery to increase.
