1. New Feature - Rent My Blog
The BETA version of Rent My Blog where members can rent blog space on other members of BlogExplosion in an open-market format is now LIVE!

This will be a great new opportunity for members to rent space on blogs (by category) for qualified traffic and a fun way for members to sell space on their blogs for additional credits.
We are currently launching in BETA to help identify any bugs in the Rent My Blog scripts. Over the next couple of days we will then remove it from BETA and will be formally launched.
Note: For testing purposes in BETA
- All campaigns are for 5 credits
- campaigns are for only 24 hours
- Email notifications are turned off until Saturday/Sunday
Early next week again once out of BETA members can price their blogs from 10-500 credits per campaign and will run for a full week rather than 5 credits and 24 hours. This means potentially hundreds of more visitors to you each month so take some time to check out how Rent My Blog works!
Moving forward we will investigate offering different sizes/ad formats and will also look at where members can rent their blog for money rather than credits! We need to look at micropayment and payment processor options available and how to make this best work for members on BlogExplosion.

2. Podcast Directory Update
For members that have added podcasts but still waiting approval please be aware we are having issues with different feed types and will be cleaning up the podcast approval script over the next week or so.
We will also be looking at activating Video Podcasts as well in the directory as we are testing out the video podcast player as well. Should be neat when we figure out how to make everything work right...

3. October Projects
Rent My Blog took about 10 days longer to get into production than we originally anticipated so the upcoming Knowledge project is now the hot ticket on the priority list. The main members page, Battle of the Blogs and Blog Rocket are all being worked on as well and we will try to get all of them out in a timely fashion.
