1. New Feature - ShoutBox Trivia
Now on BlogExplosion members chatting in the Shoutbox can play ShoutBox Trivia for bonus blog traffic!
Every hour a trivia question will show up in the Shoutbox where you have 1 minute to answer the multiple choice trivia question correctly for a share in the credit pool. The correct answer then comes up directly in the ShoutBox and the members who selected the correct answer share the credits!
Currently we have 850 trivia questions in the database and will continue adding new questions daily.
We even have a Top 50 Trivia Members list running where you can see where your trivia rank for ultimate bragging rights as the smartest BlogExplosion Member!
The feedback has been fantastic so far and members have been raving about how fun the new ShoutBox is.

2. New Feature - BlogExplosion Arcade
BlogExplosion now offers 155 new games in the BlogExplosion Arcade. Pick from a huge variety of action, strategy, sports and puzzle games to play. We hope to add new games every few weeks to keep things exciting for members.

3. New Feature - BlogExplosion Radio
Looking to listen to some music while reading other blogs?
BlogExplosion is proud to announce the launch of BE Radio where you can listen to CD quality music 24 hours a day! You can play BE Radio directly from your browser or from your favorite MP3 player like Windows Media Player or WinAmp.
Note: We are still working out bugs in the player and currently is not loading properly in Firefox. If you are having problems listening to BE Radio then try using WinAmp as the default player. BE Radio works fine in IE.
Is this BE Radio thing legal?
- Yes. BlogExplosion is a legal internet radio station and has partnered with Live365 where we pay royalties for all songs played.
It will take the BlogExplosion team a week or so to finish up BE Radio where you can actually request songs and update other functionality to make your listening experience that much better.
We are also VERY pleased to announce that well-known radio personality and voice JJ McKay will be working with BlogExplosion to help us with voice-overs and help getting us started out.
We plan to feature music from BlogExplosion members with so many talented musicians present, special radio shows on blogging and other customized programming to make BE Radio a truely unique listening experience.

4. Podcast and Video Directory to be released
GRRRR. We discovered that we still have some coding fixes to put in place this weekend and hope to have the Podcast and Videocast Directory updated with a brand new layout.

5. More new functionality out next week
So much to do still..
- We have a developer dedicated to RentMyBlog exclusively this month and will be making neccessary changes to make RentMyBlog even better!
- The Daily Lottery is getting closer now where Battle of the Blogs and Blog Rocket will be updated with 30 second manditory visits and a chance to win the daily jackpot credit pool worth hundreds of bonus credits each day.
- Blog Hosting. We are working on the design of our new blog hosting site and hopefully will have something new to report next week. This will be a huge initiative for BlogExplosion and expect to see great response once it is out the door.
