BlogCharm will be introducing a whole new way for bloggers to enjoy building a blog and get paid doing it!
Our question to bloggers everywhere ...
Why should blog hosts keep all of the revenue when it is the bloggers that do all of the hard work?
So how do I get paid and how does BlogCharm work?
BlogCharm will pay members by splitting all advertising inventory and sponsorships.
- On member blogs the top thinbar will contain text ads where members will share 50% of the inventory and revenues generated from them. This will be a mixture of paid ads where members get paid each time their blog is seen and not just when somebody clicks on an advertisement which works much differently than programs like AdSense. Each time your blog is seen you get paid !!
- BlogCharm even goes further to make money for members where we split site sponsorship revenues 50/50 as well.
For example. If we sell a main page sponsorship for $500 per month members will split 50% of the total take. Nobody else is doing this!
NOTE: BlogCharm members will still be able to add AdSense ads directly on their blogs and earn 100% of those revenues
When can I start making money on BlogCharm?
The BlogExplosion team is coding the Ad Center now where members can track how much money they are making from their BlogCharm blog.
Expected Launch Date of the BlogCharm Ad Center : March 1st
Eventhough the paid advertising is not turned on yet it still makes sense to develop your blog and build your readership now. The more you have developed your blog between now and March 1st means the more revenue you will be making once we leave BETA
BlogCharm is still in BETA and we need help over the next month or so getting everything operational.

- keeping logged in properly across all browsers
Get blogging and help us build up a network of blogs so we can demand more money for site sponsorships! As a blog network everyone will be included in the rewards and as the bigger the blog network grows the more we can sell sponsorships for. That means more money to you!
REMEMBER -- This is brand new and we need lots of feedback for any bugs you may encounter. We promise to get the paid blogging portion running ASAP so please be patient with us as we develop the neccessary scripts to make it a reality.

2. 3 Updates to Battle of the Blogs
BlogExplosion has made 3 updates to Battle of the Blogs that will improve overall functionality and make BOTB much more enjoyable to play..
1. Click on Show on Blog and you now can show your BOTB ranking right on your blog. Just cut and paste a line of code and show your Battle of the Blogs rank!

2. Members can now CANCEL challenges waiting to be accepted in the case you have a battle with no takers
3. When logged in you will only see outstanding challenges that either are the same category as your blog or Battle All Challenges.
These changes mean no more long waits for new challenges and should make Battle of the Blogs run much smoother moving forward. With these changes it also means that the BE Daily Traffic Lottery is one step closer to launch as well.

3. Rent Problems with our thumbnailer
Yes we know that thumbnails are not updating properly. We makes some changes to the thumbnail script over the last couple of days and it seems to be working better at least.
If you have any problems with your thumbnail please send us a support ticket so we can update your blog thumbnail here.

4. Traffic Delivery Rate
BlogExplosion traffic rate has been slow recently. Lots of surfers still, but also lots of sites in rotation as well. All of our next development will be features that will increase the daily traffic delivery by offering members additional ways to use their credits. Read below.

5. BE TextLink Exchange coming soon!
BlogExplosion will be introducing a new text link exchange where members can get their blog text links on other member blogs for even more traffic. We are re-writing the text exchange script now and will be ready to test in the next week. This will be very strategic with the launch of BlogCharm and will be a great source of additional traffic to your blog. Blog Text Links will also increase the speed of rotation of regular blogs visits as well.
Look for the BE Textlink Exchange BETA coming shortly.

6. Blog Reviews coming soon!
Soon members will be able to get their blogs reviewed by selected reviewers for credits. We want to offer high quality reviews for members and are setting up a special area for blog reviews. More details to how to qualify as a blog reviewer coming soon.

Things are REALLY busy here right now. No time to eat or sleep here over last couple of days and that will not be changing anytime soon!
Podcast Directory could be out tomorrow if things go right internally here. BE Radio will be updated hopefully by end of the week. RentMyBlog is being worked on right now. Daily Lottery is waiting to go live.
In fact we are making updates across the entire site right now.
... there are even strong rumors of another main site re-design of BlogExplosion with all of this new functionality coming into play.
