1. New Feature - Blog Text Links
Looking for a new way to generate blog traffic? BlogExplosion is proud to announce the launch of BlogTextLinks!

Simply insert a couple of lines of code on your blog and you will start exchanging blog links where you can choose preferred categories and get traffic from audiences tailored to your blog content!
Some members simply hate surfing for credits so this is a great way to earn blog traffic each time your blog is shown. Each time your blog is viewed with your textlink code you will display 5 text links from other members. For that you earn 2.5 textlink impressions in return where your textlink ad will be shown.
For example: If your blog gets 100 visits per day (500 textlinks) that means your textlinks will be automatically shown 250 times without even lifting a finger. That could result in hundreds of extra visits to your blog every month.
Note: Since this is the first time that we will carry a large amount of links there could be potential rotation and display issues. Please forward any bugs you encounter so we can fix them up. We expect snags with the script for the first couple of days until we have enough links in rotation to properly test this new feature. As always we appreciate your help.
Now you may already exchanging text links on your blog but remember BlogExplosion is the largest blog exchange on the internet by many fold. 2. Want to make money blogging? Update for BlogCharm!
The interest in BlogCharm has been simply overwhelming and I would first of all like to say thanks to our moderators and admin people for all of the help over the last week with helping us with support questions and in the BE forums.
I posted an update on the BE blog (helpmeblog.com) to outline how members will be making money and some of the ways we will calculate earnings for BlogCharm members a few days ago that will explain how everything works.

At the end of next week we will ask BlogCharm members to enter their Paypal information and we will also start testing the paid advertising features in the third week of February as well.... Yes you will be paid for that!

3. BE Radio is rocking
With almost 1000 songs in rotation BE Radio will be fully launched next week.
We are working on the design of the main radio page and music player right now and functionality wise you can request songs and a bunch of other neat stuff.

4. Project Freeze - Next step Daily Lottery
We have put a freeze on all new projects right now until we get certain features out. With that in mind we will dedicate next week to the Daily Traffic Lottery.
This means Battle of the Blogs and Blog Rocket will be updated and members will also have have an exciting new way to win credits each day. The Daily Lottery is definitely on the priority list and we will finish all of the scripts next week. Stay tuned for more information.
We also have a developer dedicated to RentMyBlog and we hope to have changes in place there for the end of February. RentMyBlog should be even better once we have these changes in place.

5. New BE Partnerships brewing
BlogExplosion is getting recognized! We have been approached by several very well-known companies over the last few weeks and we have partnerships that are being negotiated right now! There are some really neat opportunities that we think will add definite value to BlogExplosion and make the site that much better.
BlogExplosion will start an extensive marketing campaign in the spring with a brand new site design hopefully (working on the re-design now) and we hope to grow BE to 100,000 members by the end of 2006!
According to Alexa.com, BlogExplosion has been ranked consistently in the top 5000 sites on the entire internet for some time now. That is huge and we think we will be in the top 2500 over the next couple of months. BlogExplosion is ranked as one of the most popular blog sites on the net and we will continue to move up on the list.
