1. New BlogExplosion Features Launched Today!
BlogExplosion launched several new features today to help improve the overall effectiveness and user experience of the site as we strive to generate quality traffic to all of your blogs.
The BlogExplosion surfbar has been updated with the following upgrades
a) Add Sites to your Do Not Visit List
- If there are certain sites that you do not want to visit again BlogExplosion now gives members the ability to add upto 25 sites to their Do Not Visit List. If there are particular sites that you prefer simply not to surf again the Do Not Visit List gives you the option to flag certain blogs that will not be displayed again while surfing for traffic.

b) Profanity and Audio Toggles
- From the surfbar you can now easily indicate if you want to view sites with excessive profanity or sites that have sound or audio in them. If sites with music or sound irritate you all you do is indicate that you prefer not to see sites with any sound in them! Note: Please help us by reporting any sites that have audio in them by clicking on the Report Site link on the surfbar so we flag all sites with sound in the database.
c) Rates Sites from the Surfbar
- A quick note that members can rate member sites right from the surfbar now!
d) View what members have blogmarked you!
- Rather than only providing members stats of how many members have blogmarked your site, we now also list which members have blogmarked your sites as well.
Click on the add/edit blogs link on the left navbar to list the sites currently on your account and then click the # of times Blogmarked link to list the members who currently have you blogmarked!

e) Blog Directory Traffic Stats Feature
- Now when searching the BlogExplosion Blog Directory you will notice a stats graphic for each blog in the directory. My mousing over the stats button you can see when the site was added and how much traffic they have received to date! Go ahead and check out the stats for any of the sites listed.

2. Make sure to update your country flag
It is great to know what country all of our members are from so please login and update your country selection. By making a selection you can proudly display the flag of your country when other people are searching for blogs in the Blog Directory.

3. Add Comment Feature to go live within 96 hours
Within the next 96 hours BlogExplosion will be launching a new feature that allows members to leave comments on other member sites. BlogExplosion wants to demonstrate that members are actually reading your site and we hope the ability to add comments on other member blogs generates some great discussions. More details to follow early next week - Stay tuned!

4. Membership Doubles Again Since Last Update
Just a quick note that the number of members on BlogExplosion has doubled again since the last email we sent out and the overall number of members continues to grow very quickly. This allows BlogExplosion members to always find new and interesting blogs to read while using the site.

5. Features due to launch soon
As we mentioned the new comments feature is set to go live early next week but we also have several other features that are almost ready as well.
Members will soon be able to see the actual members that have rated their blogs and what those members rated your blog. Also members will soon be able to randomly win Mystery Credits when clicking on sites listed in the BlogExplosion Blog Directory for even more traffic to your blogs.

6. October Blog Lottery
Remember every month BlogExplosion holds the Blog Traffic Lottery where members can use un-used credits for a chance to win the jackpot!
You must buy at least one ticket to be entered in the competition each month. The current jackpot looks to be approaching 4000 credits for October and the lucky winners will be announced November 1st!

7. When Can We Surf by Category?
We know that members are REALLY anxious to be able to surf blogs in categories of interest only. Remember we are still only just over a month old and it will take at least another month or two before we have a large enough memberbase to be able to realistically offer this feature. We greatly appreciate your patience and will have this feature available to members as soon as possible.
