BlogExplosion General Comments Policy and Comments FAQ page In order for BlogExplosion to offer members the ability to
post comments on other member blogs there must be some guidelines in
place to ensure that the comments feature is not abused. Members
failing to follow these simple guidelines will result in their accounts
being either suspended or deleted!
1. Where do I go to manage
comments or set my account preferences for my own site?
Members can personalize their account settings to manage how they want
to handle comments for their own blogs by logging in and clicking on
the Add/Edit
Blogs link located on the left navbar in the members area.
From here you will see a list of your approved sites and you can
customize your Comments preferences.
| Allow Comments |
For each site you have the option to choose whether or
not to allow comments to be posted by other members.
|
| Comment Received |
This will tell you how many comments have been
posted for each of your sites and you can click on the link
to read/review comments posted to date.
|
| Receive Email Notification on new Comments |
Members have the option of
being notified by email when another member posts
a comment to your blog. This is 100% optional and can be changed at
anytime.

2. Important ! What are the guidelines to
posting comments on other members blogs?
Please read this section over carefully about the
guidelines of posting comments on other member blogs!
- In order to post a comment on another
member blog your BlogExplosion account must be ACTIVE with at least one
approved blog. This measure is in place to make sure that members don't
set up empty accounts and abuse the comment feature.
- All members can post a maximum of 5 new
comments per day. To stop members from trying to post comment spam on
multiple member sites BlogExplosion has decided to limit the total NEW
comments each member can post per day. This is unfortunately a
neccessary measure we must take to make sure that when members leave
comments there is actually something of value added and not the case of
members leaving worthless comment spam. Note: In the case of replying to any
on-going comments where you have already posted to that specific thread
at some point before, there is no limit in this scenario and does NOT
count as a new post.
- Posting comments with any profanity
included is strictly NOT permitted. When posting comments to other
member blogs the use of profanity is not allowed and grounds for
account suspension or deletion. While we don't enjoy censoring comments
BlogExplosion also feels that there's absolutely no need to include
profanity when leaving comments.
- Comments that are clearly abusive or
contain questionable content are discouraged and can be reported by
other members. We hope that in the case where you don't agree with
another member or don't like something about a particular member blog
that comments are made with respect and with constructive dialogue.
There is absolutely no need to make any sort of personal attacks while
posting a comment and that members will respect and help each other out
to make BlogExplosion a fun place to visit.
